Depart from Johannesburg and travel via Heilbron and Bethlehem National Park. Continue via Oliviershoek Pass and Bergville to the Central drakenberg area for overnight at the Nest Hotel.  We arrive in the early afternoon giving ample time to admire the scenery or go on  a horse riding trail before dinner, or for walks, games, bowls, golf and many sports activities. Gentle walks are available or some strenuous ones for the more active.

Day 2

After breakfast we depart for the beautiful Sandstone Hills around Golden Gate to admire the magnificent scenery where wind and water have twisted the sandstone into magnificent cliffs. At sunset after rain they assume a golden colour -a never-to-be forgotten sight. After lunch we continue on our journey homeward . Arriving at 17h00
